Midwest Alpaca Farms is a division of MOPACA, the Midwest Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association, which represents over one hundred and twenty alpaca farms located in nine states. The diversity of the MOPACA farms will provide you with an excellent selection of over 1,000 quality alpacas in all colors, ages and price ranges. In addition, MOPACA member farms offer education, financing, and boarding. MOPACA members use easy to understand contracts and guarantees on all purchases and agreements. Most alpaca owners had little or no knowledge of raising livestock when they started their farms. It is through seller support that most new owners acquire the knowledge needed to raise these wonderful animals. MOPACA farms bring a tradition of knowledge and know-how that they are happy to share with you. MOPACA INVITATIONAL
Each spring MOPACA sponsors this nationally renowned alpaca show at The American Royal/Hale Arena in Kansas City. This is a wonderful chance to see over five hundred alpacas from across the country compete for excellence in fleece and conformation. The show provides a great opportunity to ask questions you may have about the care and raising of alpacas. This would be a convenient time for you to set up a future farm visit; it’s as easy as asking any of the MOPACA members at the show. In addition to the alpacas, there will be a host of vendors offering a wide array of alpaca clothing and products for sale.
